Community Day near Rochester, WA
Once a year, we love to come together before the ceremony weekend to enjoy Nature, a potluck, a Sacred fire, and the relaxation that community brings.
This gathering is open to all ages, and the land is easy to traverse. There is space for tent camping on Thursday, even if you are not staying the weekend.
On this beautiful Land, we gather to share food, song, stories, and fun for an afternoon and evening where we get to know each other in an intimate yet comfortable way. We bring in what we need to support us for the day and to do a little preparation of the space for Friday’s ceremonial weekend kickoff.
On site, there is a large teepee to house our lodge’s pow wow drum that we will gather around for a spell to lift our voices in appreciation for Life, along with a large fire pit for the evening when we gather for storytelling.
Although this is “primitive camping”, we have access to a new porta-potty.
There is fresh drinking water at the small covered patio located near large trees in a lush camping area alongside 2.5 acres of beautiful private woods.
